Considering adding HGH to my TRT

I tried posting this over on the AAS forum, but didn't have much luck, so trying here in case you guys know anything more about it.

I've spent the last hour or so trying to do some research on this, but information is fairly fragmented across various forums.

Since starting on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), and experiencing the benefits, I've come to the conclusion that since I'm going to be on this for the rest of my life, I might as well maximise my treatment by adding in whatever else I can safely get away with.

I understand the benefits to supplementing with HGH are numerous - I keep reading articles about how half of Hollywood is apparently taking it - but I've got some questions I was hoping some of you could help me clear up.

- presumably, the body's own production is suppressed when supplementing with HGH. Does this kick back in when you stop taking it? Or do you have to do some sort of "PCT" for HGH?
- once on it, is there any reason not to stay on it for life, in the same way as TRT?
- are there serious long term health implications to taking a small daily dose of something like 1IU? I've heard that the bone structure of people's faces can actually change
- what's the preferred injection method? I was reading about some sort of "pen" type easy injection device for it

I've found a reliable source, the cost comes in at around £200/month, so manageable.

Thanks for any information as always.

There have been some guys here who have been on HGH while on TRT. I don't know much about using it, but are you sure only taking 1iu a day will do anything? I have always heard it should be between 2-6iu's and that you should work your way up slowly to avoid side effects. I don't know the answers to you other questions.

The higher dose is going to cost you more. Now you are looking at 400-600 pounds a month! That will take a bite out of you discretionary spending.

I can try to answer this the best that I can from what I've seen and read over the forums over the years....and from my own thoughts as well. I could be totally wrong with what I tell you here....so take what I say with a grain of salt.

While you are taking an exogenous hormone, you will suppress your body's own natural product of HGH for a period of time. But from my understanding, your own production will return to normal after you cease use....much like the thyroid does after using T3.

You COULD stay on it permanently, but that's just not affordable. If you're wanting to add it in to your testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) and see some solid results...I would start at 2IU and work your way up by a .5 half IU until you're getting the results you want.

As far as the bone structure changing I can't say for sure....logic would say since your growth plates are closed that this would be a no...could be wrong

Injection method is just with a insulin needle. 29 or 30g. Reconstitute with bacteriostatic water. I usually use sodium chloride to reconstitute my peptides but there are other options

Brilliant mate thanks, that pretty much covers all that I was looking for. I probably could afford to stay on it all the time, but only if it were worthwhile, and wouldn't fuck me up in the long term.

Have you ever tried it for yourself?

Never ran it....can't afford it yet. I think I'm going to run it on my next cycle. Take the next 6months to a year accumulating goods and then run a massive cycle. If you're going to be on....then be ON

I am also considering adding hgh to my trt. I have been on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) for 6 months now. It seems, however, like i am still missing a key component to my overall wellness. The first few months of testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) was great, and I had great libido and TONS of energy. The feel good effects have faded for me, and now Im left feeling like i did previous to trt. Im back to being tired with low energy and easy fatigue, anxiety is back again. The only thing positive right now is that I am definitely stronger in the gym. Could adding hgh to my protocol be the "missing link" so to speak, as far as getting my protocol moving in the right direction? I have heard that hgh will help with well-being, energy, and it will help me "sleep like a baby again" as I have read on other postings. Thoughts?

I would get your testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) protocol figured out first before you start throwing other compounds into the mix.

How's you estradiol looking these days?

Hey mega....Estradiol is looking real good actually. I havent taken Adex for awhile now, and my most recent E2 test result came back at 28. TT level at trough was 570.

Just an FYI. Gh needs to be run for long periods to "see" results. I've run hgh at 2iu for over a year. The one area that I can "See" results is with fat loss/maintenance and healthier looking skin. Depending on your diet of course. As for adding lean mass with hgh you'll need a much higher dose 5-6iu min.

ive run Human Grade HGH (serostim) on 2 separate occasions , 1st time i ran for over 6 months and i am in the 3rd month of my second run. I currently have 16 kits enough to run for a long while.

for OP human grade hgh 1.5/2iu daily, either 7 days or 6 days on 1 off, or 5 days on 2 off

*more recently many bros taking HGH more consistent with growth spurts of puberty rather than a consistent bleed , some even take eod , or one large dosage 1x per week

anyways , 1st run i took daily, now im taking 5 on 2 or switch it up and take 4 on 1 off 4 on 1 off

I have had no issue after coming off the first run of 6months+ no pct for hgh

also you have to decide am or pm, there is conflicting info, BUT human grade HGH insert instructs you to take it at bedtime. I like it this way because it can make me drowsy when i take am

also you cant eat carbs especially sugars before or after taking eat - at least one hour. but i like to fast longer before and after so taking at bedtime really works for me

results: at 2iu deeper sleep, youthful skin, less bloating of face and body ( also makes face look younger )

amazing leaning/fat loss in trunk and sides of torso. my abs are also way more pronounced

also i lost some mass but again i am very ripped, my shoulders are widened with unreal definition

strength increase in gym

let me know if u have questions

That's brilliant mate, thanks, exactly what I was looking for. Couple of things - how long after you started taking it did you start to notice results? Any noticeable bad side effects?

And when you say you lost mass, I presume you mean you lost lean muscle - were you on a cut at the time? The widened shoulders thing sounds interesting to me. I've always had the type of physique that tends towards massive traps and arms, which gives my shoulders a bit of a sloped look unless I really pull them up and back as far as they'll go all the time.

I've tracked down some pharma grade genotropin - is there much difference between that and the serostim? Someone I know mentioned that he thought you could start seeing results from serostim more quickly.

Also whilst I think of it - is there any precedent for women supplementing with HGH? I presume the benefits would be the same as for men, but a lower dose would be required? If this stuff really is as good as it sounds, it'd be nice to bring my gf along for the ride.

And anyway, who doesn't want a leaner, healthier, more youthful looking girlfriend ;-)

HGH for 6 months - Waste of $$$

Brilliant mate thanks, that pretty much covers all that I was looking for. I probably could afford to stay on it all the time, but only if it were worthwhile, and wouldn't fuck me up in the long term.

Have you ever tried it for yourself?

Last year I was on HGH 2IU/day, 5 on, 2 off a week and, sadly, I was a HUGE waste of money. All it did was cause minor bloating and achy hands. I got it from a board sponsor so I know it was legit.

if its real pharma grade hgh you cant go wrong

unless its human grade from pharmacy youll never know if hgh is legit. hgh is not easy to make lol

many ugl hgh is just thyroid hormone mixed with Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) etc ...

anyways - real hgh ... i didnt mean to say i lost mass as in lean muscle, i lost some bulk and some size from becoming more lean, but after a few months i started to add back more quality ripped mass

you can notice some results earlier on like deeper sleep etc.. but tales a couple of months before you start to see body changes

Yes woman can run 1iu a day of human grade

if it was a sponsor it should be g2g. you may of wanted to start slowly and sides would retreat

Ok great, thanks for the info. Looking forward to getting my hands on some now and giving it a whirl. If my girlfriend develops elephantitis I'm blaming you ;-)
