Considering PH Cycle for Cutting

I'm considering using a PH for a cycle or two at the max to lean up. I've got quite a bit to lose, but I'd like to keep as much muscle that I do have under a fairly steep calorie reduction.

I'd like to know what you guys think. Also, if you think it's a good or OK idea, what do you recommend? I've found many bits of information in various places, and some of it was contradicting.

I'm 30 years old. Never used a PH before. 5'8". 295 lbs. 30% body fat. My target weight is 230 lbs, not sure about target body fat %. I will not be competing in any sport or bodybuilding competition.

Thanks for your help, guys.

I guess more information is necessary. I'm a classic endomorph, so I know my diet needs to be tight for the rest of my life. Which, since the start of this year, it has been. I've lost 19 lbs since the start of the year.

I'm eating 2800-3200 calories per day, with a rough macro ratio of 40/40/20. I lift four to five days per week, on a split, to maximize the metabolic afterburn. I do cardio, roughly 30 mins, six days a week.

I've seen great results. I think I've figured out what I need to do to lose weight. I just would like to boost that process a bit and try to keep as much muscle as I can.

one of the reasons i wouldnt run a ph right now is cause your bf is way up there. it supposedly makes you more susceptible to gyno because people with higher BF% will have higher levels of estrogen already.

just some food for thought...

Definitely Androhard. Because you're at such a high level of Bf, estrogen will most likely be elevated. DHT (androhard's target hormone) is a powerful anti-estrogen and can really help recomp/cut and put on a few lbs. of muscle (3-4 lbs. of muscle in 4 weeks if cutting). Assuming diet and training are on, of course.

I agree with this. Generally speaking PH/DS are best for fine tuning an already tuned system.

Keep working at your body naturally for awhile longer.

When it comes time a large focus you should have on is cost as well. Both fiscally and health wise. Never want to overpay for things like some end up doing when they get back into the game. Study up, read reviews, there are still some good oldies that work. Nothing new that I personally have found any interest in yet. Superdrol, Epistane, etc. Worked then, work now.
