I just got my first creatine bottle from universal nutrition, was expecting a bad taste but had no taste at all, is this a common standard for all creatine products these days ?

Creatine Monohydrate doesn't taste bad

Creatine Ethyl Ester tastes bad
That's an understatement, but accurate none the less. lol

Creatine mono is fine. Most companies add a fuckton of sugar to it and if you can get past the sweetness of it, you are fine. You can't add enough sugar or jack daniels to make cee tolerable. that stuff is NAZ-T!

Why does TrueProtien.com not have creatine ethyl ester available for custom mixes?

likely for 2 reasons:
1. taste
2. hygroscopic (other ingredients with any moisture level will clump and harden with it to a rediculous point)

I wouldn't want to ruin a mix with CEE.

Its effective, but the taste will make the mix taste bad.

Take CEE by itself.
