Creatine VS. V12

I was taking creatine monohydrate in standard (heaping teaspoon)
doses for approx. 6mo with good results. I stopped for 2 wks.
My question is, should I go back on the creatine, or switch to the
new shit? My source tells me that creatine is "old school"- and that
V12 (or equivalent) is superior. I know creatine is an amino, but hoping I could get this sorted out:confused:
