say the cycle is test(500/week) for 12 weeks+var (100mg ed) for 8 weeks.

Target is to reduce 15 lbs of fat while increasing as much muscle as possible.

What should be the goal on a weekly basis in terms of fat reduction while increasing a bit muscle?

stats: 165lbs,19%bf, 5'7", few years in lifting, no cycle history.

I have a feeling you will not be getting much help.

All I can say is it will.greatly depend on your diet...without knowledge of that..or even with..no one will be able to answer your question

Not to sound harsh, but if you're at 19% body fat and weigh 165lbs - you really would benefit far more from learning how to diet properly and sticking with the gym consistently. I'm willing to wager you could easily meet your goals in 16 weeks naturally and you'll have developed a far better base for when you do decide to start a cycle. Remember, muscle grows far faster than your connective tissues while on AAS, so jumping in and then hitting the weights hard is a sure-fire recipe for injury. Stick with it for a year, you'll be in a far better position to benefit from the drugs and you'll have a better experience by far.

My .02c :)

I understand you point halfwit, however it has been years for me and have to be in a decent looking position in next 3 months ( with reuced bf% and as muscle). If I had time I woud have definitely done what you are saying here. I know i wud be flamed for this, but i jst want a faster result right now. have alredy acquired test and on 2nd week actually.

whatever results you get on steroids will be lost unless you keep taking them, not right away but within a year or 2 from being off gear you'll lose your gains thats life homie, do you really wanna fuck yourself over to look good for like 6 months?

Well, if you started already you could have posted that and saved me the lecture lol. Exogenous test will spare you some of the muscle catabolism, but you definitely need that diet in check. That is what will make or break your results, and I strongly recommend you contact 3J if you want to optimize. I did, and I plan on sharing my results in December when I'm finished. Let me just say he knows his stuff and that is where I'd start at when it comes to tweaking what you're looking for.

Make sure to incorporate cardio into your training (at the END of your resistance training, not BEFORE!) and you should start to see the pounds come off as long as everything else is in check. I won't flame you as there's little point in crying over spilt milk, or injected test in this case. ;)

don't worry man, I have done my homework on gear in the last year and will be careful on the stuf pct and to maintain the gains.

Thanks, really appreciate your input.
Diet is something am revamping in a big way this time. I have already consulted a dietician in this regard. Will take all my carbs from veggies/fruits etc ( since trying to cut), keeping total cals just below maintenance. Will avoid dairy since it makes me puffy. Improving protein intake amount. Including sufficient fibres and multivitamin plus fish oil. been suggested to avoid egg yolk, would you agree? after reading a lot it turns out i shouldn't remove yolk. Also including foods to provide me anti oxidants and such stuff. Will keep sodium levels minimum and have a clean diet. Moreover, I have to be as consistent as possible which is something i had been missing.

Also have been reading lot of stuff on forums like this one. Workout is also completely changed. Switched from weekly brosplit to push/pull/legs repeat to hit each muscle twice weekly ( i am just below intermediate so this is supposed to be useful). Will inculde cardio as suggested by many including you.

pct doesn't maintain gains forever :/ even if you pct, it goes away unless you keep taking it in the future :/ its how it works...

not going to look for any actual sources or videos but i know bios has one on youtube, and several other people

Think about it. We all see the guy that blows up and gets huge, then you don't see him for a while and he comes back to the gym small. Now if you keep working out and eating well, you can maintain the mass for a while, but eventually you will lose what you gained from the drugs. When you gain say 20 lbs from a course, 12-15lbs is probably water, so you will drop that quick but the 5-8lbs of muscle you will keep for several months, maybe 6. So that's why you go back on cycle before you lose it all, so you can build from there.

Yeah I know that to keep getting bigger you will have to keep on cycling. That sucks, but you gotta deal with this. This is fair also in a sense that say some dimwit took a cycle once, would you want him to keep enjoying those gains forever?

This is one of the most debated topics in nutrition that I keep reading about. I personally feel that skimping out on the yolk to avoid cholesterol is a poor decision as there is so much nutrition from that part of the egg. I just finished up my college nutrition course and they debate it in the text as well, so I say go with what you feel gives the best results. I like my protein and other goodies that come from the yolk. :D
