Well, I know most of you are curious about how well T3 burns fat (atleast for those of you who have not tried it yet, but want to), so here are my results for the past 13 days I have been on it. I have been tapering up from 25mcg to 100mcg. Today is my first time doing 100mcg and I am doing a 4 week cycle.

Day 1: 241.8lbs, 20% bodyfat, 180lbs of muscle
Day 13: 231.6lbs, 16% bodyfat, 184lbs of muscle

I love this stuff, I have absolutely no side effects on it either. This stuff is harmless, and it sheds fat like crazy.

Now that you know how much you can tolerate, next time you can go right to 100 mcg. on day one, tapering is a waste of time.

I read the sticky and everything, but I still feel like it is not safe to do that. I'd rather not mess with my thyroid. The weird thing is, though, is that everytime I take my temperature, it is never over 97.0 degrees. I never took it before the T3 though, so it could have risen. It's usually 95.7 degrees.

Trev, once you've figured out your tolerance level for T3, you don't have to taper? I thought the whole point of tapering T3 was to get your thyroid back to normal towards the end of the cycle...is that not so?

Read Trev's sticky thread on T3 in this forum, it answers your questions.

Somebody just assumed, for no good reason, that the thyroid would have some difficulty getting back to normal and assumed again that tapering would help things along. The whole bodybuilding world jumped on board.

In fact and as proven by studies, you can use T3 for years, drop it cold turkey, and your thyroid will be back online in a matter of days. Thus, there is no good reason to taper down off T3. The only good reason to taper up is to assess your response to T3 and dial in your ideal dose. Once you've done that the first time, stop wasting time by tapering up or down.

What do you think about this:

My girlfriend takes .15mg of T4 every day (her thyroid is shot from a tumor she had on it when she was a child, that they removed with radiation, thus stopping her thyroid from naturally producing these chemicals). However, she does not see a specialist because he made her go in and do check ups every single month, which got annoying. He would not up doses, prescribe any different treatment, than just T4 by itself. If I were to add some T3 into the mix, do you think that would be more effective, as well as safe for her, to help her in keeping her weight down. She works out twice as hard as I do and because of her thyroid problem, it's much harder for her to lose weight. Luckily she's always been petite and it's not a problem, however, she'd like to actually GET somewhere while working out, and at the same time see if a combo treatment might work better for her. I hear of a lot of people using a T3/T4 combo. I thought maybe her .15mg T4 added with 25mcg of T3 could possibly have a better effect for her. Maybe she could drop down to the weight she wanted to be at, stop the T3, and if it comes back while she's still in her daily routine of healthy eating and exercise, find another endo and try to get a combo treatment prescribed legitimately. What do you think?

I think it would be fine. 25 mcg. of T3 is nothing to be concerned about and it would give her metabolism a boost.

I always dug T3, never much got into clen though.

I'm definitely going to try out Clen after I am done with T3. I already ordered some. I know for a fact I am not going to get any sides from it anyways, because my body handles drugs very well. I bought some 500mg Taurine capsules from GNC for the cramps, though.

The only thing I am not too sure about is how long do I have to wait to take the Clen, after I finish my T3 cycle. I searched every single Clen/T3 thread on these forums and could not find the answer. Would taking Clen right after affect my thyroid, or can I take it immediately after and be safe and have my thyroid fully repair normally?

Correct me here....... – Can you “tapper up”?
.
Def: Tapering- Gradually decreasing until little remains,
decreasing, becoming less or smaller

I think the word you want here is “titrate”
.
Def: Titration is the process of gradually adjusting the dose of a medication until the desired effect is achieved. Usually by process of increasing.

What does your diet look like?

How are you able to weigh these tissues individually?

You can buy $150 scales that are extremely accurate, and they tell you everything you need to know. It's worth the money if you are serious about getting into shape.

This is the one I use: http://www.thecompetitiveedge.com/shop/item/123-productId.184549379_123-catId.176160779.html

It also memorizes your last measurements so you can look back on it, and see how you progressed. Also, it can store and memorize up to 4 users.

61.8% of the human body is water. Now, muscle is also mostly water, but that aside. I don't think even ronnie coleman has 180 pounds of muscle :D
