I'm Tuesday, you say that you are doing back/bis but then you do deads...which definitely SHOULD be exercising your legs.

I'm Thursday, you say that you are doing legs ... and you do stiff leg deads, which obviously places less emphasize on your legs and more on your back.

But I'm not saying that deads and squats need to be done on the same day because they are both legs.

I would suggest swapping Mon and Tueday _or_ Thursday and Friday, but I'm no expert so we'll wait and see what others say.

not to agrue nor am i an expert either but deads are more a full body exercise, but the emphasis is place on how you pull i believe. i pull a lot with quads to start but as i go i pull towards lock out i make sure to use as much back as possible.

also sldl should target hamms and lower back..at least when i do them..my hamms and glutes are usually quit wore out after a good set of those..along with my lower back too. but i try keep my form in a manner to target my hamms...

how ever i think its fine how he has those two exercises placed in his training..i have mine the same way...not to say mine is right. either way would work.

There is definitely back involved in deads. They way I see it, you need back and legs for deads, and yes, you can vary the emphasis. My point was that he is doing legs on Tue and Thurs. Maybe Mon and Thursday would be better.

.

I also do deads on back day. SLDL is a very good hamstring excercise, and obviuously low back too.
I think deads and SLDL can be done on any back or leg day.

i always squat and then sldl on the same day.well not always but alot of the times.but in a week where i squat heavy i dont pull heavy and vise versa.
