When doing deads I do (after warmup) 3-4 working sets of like 6-8. I this right ? I get down and lift up pellback my shoulders then go down and let the plates tap the floor is this right ?

Just wondering. Some seem to do a rep then let it down and start over. Kinda like a bunch of one rep sets. It sounded wierd to me but Im new. I have a hard time keeping form good when repeating reps but I tried letting alittle weight off and it seems to be working. But heavy deads are great...

Don't let the plates hit the floor. This takes all of the tension off of your muscles. Keep the reps flowing into one another without much of a pause at the top or bottom. As far as your shoulders you have the right idea.
