I'm going to start my cutting cycle in March and curious to know what would be a good dose of dextrose post workout. On non workout days I don't plan on eating any carbs at all, maybe a few from veggies. On workout days I'd like to stay at around 50g a day or would this be too low?
 
It wouldn't be too low in my opinion. However, I do not recommend restricting carbs to the extent you are planning on any days. I think it makes sense to limit simple carbs to post workout but I would recommend you consume complex carbs every day, especially early in the day.
 
I agree with Trev, I find if i cut out my dextrose my recovery is the shits, I need atleast 50g after each workout. Keep your carbs to the early morn, and the meal after training after your post workout shake.

don't ignore your veggies!!!Lots of greens, brocolli, brocolli, brocolli!
Maybe throw a couple of tablespoons of Flax Oil in your diet somewhere as well. Are you taking in flax at all now?
 
do you guys recommend dextrose even though I'm on a low carb diet after my workout or is that just for bulking up. The reason is I dont want to slow down the fat burning process.
