Did I hit a vein?

Only inject cycle I've done before was just test, always pinned quad and never had problems.

Today was my second inject of test/deca, 1 CC of each. Using a 23 gauge 1.5 inch needle I got it all the way in, felt pretty normal, and injected the good stuff. When I pulled out, it immediately started bleeding like no other...dripping off my leg onto my foot. Not an insane amount, but definitely more than I'm used to. Now, there's a tiny lump on the surface of the skin which I've been massaging. I imagine it can't indicate infection since the lump was evident immediately.

So what happened? It didn't happen last time I pinned the same cocktail. How can I avoid this in the future? I'm not terrible with blood but I'm not gonna lie, when it runs out like that and drips it makes me a little uneasy! Do you think I hit a vein? I didn't aspirate, but I don't have any of the signs I've read about from hitting veins (taste in mouth, etc). I feel fine.

it happens time to time bro, u probably pass through a vein on the way in or out which then caused the excess bleeding
also to note best to swtich up injection sites as well to prevent unwanted scar tissue

Aspirate in the future to be safe. You probably hit a vein but IV absorbs super quick so you probably would have had a side effect by now if it had gotten into the vein. Try cold/heat.

Thanks guys. Had an incident last cycle with a 1 inch where I pulled out and the oil leaked out. Decided to play it safe by getting longer needles this time. I wanted 1 1/4, but they're hard to come by so I just went with the 1.5 inch. I'm definitely kind of regretting it though as I feel like it's a bit too long.

Use 1 inch in quads man.
Also, just so you know if you get:
slow blood leak = vein
blood spray= artery

No worries there

A small bit of blood happens from time to time. Not to worry about.
I have started to use the glutes and find that I never have problems with them, and pain free.
Supposed to be good absorption too with such a large muscle group.
I found more bleeding in delts so I avoid them. Glutes = easy and trouble free IMHO.
