Did I just loose my liver ???

Just came back from the doctor's office the nurse gave my blood test results (I won't be able to see the doctor until Tuesday.. But I see my
GGTP is high (64) normal range should be 9.0-29.0.
ALT is high at 57 normal range is 5-35
AKL is normal at 39 normal range is 10.-103.
AST is normal at 33 normal range is 5-34.

What is your opinion on my blood work.. Been on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) for over a year now, year round on test, never taken time off.

Im not going to comment because I'm not a Dr. BUT I would be careful if I was you. This is a little info about both the elevated enzymes.

One more thing, your liver can stand a lot of adversity, they almost always recover. Not saying this is healthy but just remember that, and don't stress yourself to death, if you need to get off the juice you need to get off, if thats the case then let yourself recover and you'll be fine.

thanks barnzy, In my last doctor's visit about 1 month ago I asked the doctor about the liver values and he told me that they were going to elevate while on the juice.. If I came off of it he said they would come down, but that once I was back on it would go back up again... I'll see what he tells me on tuesday.

i doubt that the test is causing the problems.

list prescription and over the counter meds that you have taken recently and alcohol consumption.


also did you excercise heavily within a day of the blood work?

hey DADAWG meds? wellbutrin 200mg for anxiety once a day,beer? I drink 4 cans of bush light every night,. did not exercise heavily at the day of my blood work, but drank two cup of coffee before the test..

what about tylenol , cold meds ,allergy meds , etc.

I took a couple of Tylenol extra strength pills a couple of nights night before,but no other meds or over the counter.

next blood test no booze or alcohol or excercise 48 hours before . no tylenol or over the counter meds either. no food or drink except water for 12 hours prior to blood work , its the only way to get a accurate reading.
