Hi Guys,
First post, been lurking around for a while and still not ready to plan a cycle yet, but i figured now is as good a time as any to start asking questions. I want to know what your diet looks like before you start a cycle.
I've always been a "thicker" guy and about December last year i decided i wanted to trim up a bit. I stopped drinking and went from 264 to 246, but i was stuck there for a while and even though i was getting stronger i was not losing any more fat. I finally bit the bullet in June and started to educate myself about diet and went live with a cutting cycle (planned with a nutritionist) on July 8th.
By running this plan and lifting hard 5-7 days a weeks ive cut down to 218 with almost no strength loss. I want to get the more accurate float test done, but im right about 12% body fat now. I think i will keep running this plan until i get to 210 then i wanted to start to put some weight on in the form of lean mass.
Im thinking im going to taper the calories back up slowly (clean, no dirty bulk) and let my body adjust to the surplus for a bit. If i was going to run a basic first timer cycle in the future (probably test only, haven't figured it out the details yet), how long would you run naturally on high calories before you started up a cycle? would you jump directly into the cycle from the cut instead on tapering? What have you guys done in the past that has been successful?
