Diet help needed on isle 3

So, Over the years I have heard a ton of myths about do’s and don’ts in regards to putting on muscle mass. Typically, I steer clear of asking questions and follow the mentality of what I can find in a fitness magazine. I understand about boosting protein and adding on the carbs, but just how much? I am the type of guy who puts on fat and muscle really easy. I know I can’t have the best of both worlds at the same time without dieting. Can someone please help? Cardio? Diet? Anything?

This question is much too broad. Answer these questions first.

What are your goals....to gain muscle or lose fat. Don't say both.
What are your stats....age, height, weight, etc.

Let's start with that.
 
Im 5'7 195 lbs and about 15%BF. I would like to gain. Ive read macrobolic nutrition and I am not quite sure how to gain. I just feel like carbs are my enemy due to the fact I gain fat so quickly. Any help would be great. Thanks
