Fun fact!
"Commercial DNP is primarily used for scientific research and in manufacturing. It has been used at times to make dyes, other organic chemicals, and wood preservatives. DNP is a chemical intermediate in the production of some herbicides including dinoseb and dinoterb. It has also been used to make photographic developer and explosives."
I wonder if dnp is found naturally in the body as test is? Hm. Guess that Moronic post about getting off testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) is pretty moot, huh?

Some more fun facts:
1) mushrooms are toxins. Does anyone out mushrooms on their pizza or eat them in their cooking?
2) castor oil is a poison. Did you know that castor oil, an over the counter laxative, is made from the castor bean? Did you also know that same castor bean can kill a man and it takes 4 to kill an elephant. Do you further know that this same castor bean, where the OTC laxative comes from, is where ricin comes from...yes the chemical and biological weapon ricin.
3) almonds are poisonous. Did you know almonds must be processed before sale because are full of cyanide? Yes the deadly stuff. Some countries even allow the sale of unprocessed almonds.
4) cherries are poisonous. Do you eat cherries? Ever accidentally swallowed the pit or but it and damaged it in any way? Better be careful because when the seeds are crushed, chewed, slightly injured, or swallowed they produce Prussic acid aka hydrogen cyanide.
5) apples are poisonous. An apple a day keeps the doctor away...or maybe leads to an early death! You can eat enough apple seeds to kill yourself it's true. Apple seeds contain more of that yummy hydrogen cyanide.
6) have you ever indulged in rhubarb puddings or pies? Tastes good right? Well besides having an UNKNOWN poison in its leaves it also has corrosive acid in there as well.
7) tomatoes are grown from poison. Most people eat tomatoes right? Good for you with all that lycopene (antioxidant) and tastes great in the form of ketchup on burgers. Well the stems and leaves of the tomato plant carry a chemical called glycoalkloid. Common side effects of glycoalkloid: extreme nervousness and upset stomach.
8) potatoes are serial killers. We all love potatoes but who knew they were bad for you (besides those low carb bigots) and there's more to worry about than just gain fat off those pesky carbs! Potato plant leaves and stems contain glycoalkloid poison. Yes the same as the tomato killer.
^^^^did you know all the things in the above list have killed more people than DNP? Yes, potatoes have killed more people in the last 80+yrs since DNP's existence.
