Do Ecotomorphs Gain Size With Less Weight On Body?

I've noticed I gained alot more size into this cycle than before even though less weight has been put on. As an ectomorph is weight on scale really a factor or how it looks in mirror?

BTW not about cycle or stats simply just body question.

it's about illusion

i see nobody responded to your post. it's all about how you appear, which you can easily work on with the right strategy. some of the best compliments I've ever received about size were when I had actually lowered my body weight.
example: if you work on reducing waist and working delts, specifically side delts, you will appear wider, with a v-shape

you probably get the point, but one of the best books I've read, even though it's old is the Arnold's Encyclopedia of Bodybuilding. there is a whole section on that very topic.
Also, old time pro Larry Scott was known for having narrow shoulders but wisely made himself appear wider. it's worth the purchase. that book is great for lots of reasons.
hope this helps.
