i heard alot that one should reach his genetic potential before cycling

this may take years..lots of years .

so why is this

will the gains be more if one cycled after reaching his genetic potential ... would it really make any difference ??

becz if it would not

there is no point of waiting then

i mean ..yeah ..one should not cycle after 3 month of training

but one shouldnt wait till the genetic potential is reached
right ?

No matter what anyone says, starting AAS is a personal choice, not a choice based on numbers.

We like to use numbers such as age, traing experience, weight and lifts to help us decide when we are ready, but it is entirely up to the individual.

and wt about the gains.. will I be able to get as big as if i waited till i reached the potential ?
 
Pit is right but here's some things to think about.

With AAS you can gain strength and weight at a rate faster then your tendons can keep up with. The end result is injury. You need time in the gym to strengthen those tendons and on AAS you end up increasing weight in lifts much faster then normal.

Guys who are not close to that potential are also the ones who gain 30 to 40 lbs off a cycle (usually). That's nice and all but it's done in such a short period of time that their body cannot adjust or they cannot keep the cals high enough and they lose the majority of it off cycle. Then you get into relying on gear for weight and strength.

Getting close to genetic potential ensures you know how to train, you know how to eat in order to grow, you are at lower risk for injury, you are serious enough about BB to start using hormones etc etc etc.

These are just a couple things to think about. Eating and training are such a huge part of it that AAS just seems like something you do in between. Don't get me wrong, the help an incredible amount but if you truly aren't on top of the other two then it's a waste.

are you saying that mass and strength gains cant be made naturally after using gear with perfect diet and training ??

He said if you artificially hasten size and strength at a rate your connective tissues can t adjust to you ll incur a much higher chance of injury in the gym...

I went from learning to squat at age 19 weighing 165 ripped up beach bum alway s stoned, doing 225 for 3,to squatting 405 for 12 in 24 months weighing 195 cut....that s not normal...it sure was not natural.

Don t be in a hurry..slow the fuck down..at your age the potential mental ramification s will only manifest themselves much later.

Go for the triathlete look now..then add muscle. Test will make you a fatty now.

And yes with good diet and training you can alway s improve...always.

excellent point man,im 45 and just now planning my 3rd cycle,so age and experience of natural gaining is most important
