Hello guys,

I am not on a "cycle" per se, but i am 36 years old and my testosterone on the low end of average range, the doctor prescribed for me Reandron Injection 1000MG once eery 8 weeks.

he also prescribed that i should take HCG injection 500IU once a week starting from the 7th weeks after.

my question is: do I really need HCG injection for such very low dosage treatment?

i have been doing a research on many forums and many said that with low dosage treatment, HCG is not really necessary,

what do you think?

many thanks in advance for your opnion

I highly recommend hCG while on TRT. I have done it both ways and I greatly prefer TRT with hCG. If you don't take it your testicles will atrophy. This will make sex less pleasurable. That right there is enough for me. But the testicles do more than just make testosterone so keeping them in good working order seems like a good idea to me. Plus hCG is so easy to incorporate into your TRT protocol.

Also, make sure your doc monitors your estradiol to see if you also need to be on an Aromatase Inhibitor.

Agreed with Megatron. I've done it both ways and I definitely prefer it with hCG. Also take his advice and stay on top of your estrogen level. Getting dialed in takes time but it will be worth it!

I've been on TRT for five months and HCG for three weeks. MUCH better.
When I first started TRT I figured I wouldn't care too much about a little atrophy but I was wrong. With HCG everything hangs better and you will feel better about yourself.
Also this could be coincidental but my blood pressure has dropped a bit since going on HCG.

So what does HcG do for you that TRT doesn't? I was under the impression that TRT will replace the Test that your body isn't producing naturally. Would the HcG try to get you to produce Test on your own as well? Wouldn't that be redundant or is that the reason that if you do both you need to be on an AI as well?

It will keep you producing some test. I just feel better so I have to think that keeping as much natural testosterone in play as possible is a good thing.

tron on point as usual!
