Do you think one of them is using gear pt. 2

And on that note, I bid everyone a good evening. :)

Half it sounds like your problem is very common with the Focus, like, VERY common.
From what I've read on it, a lot of people have problems with the cable that runs from the alt to the battery coming loose. Either that or the pigtail on the backside of the alt. burning out.

It could also be your choice of battery, the Focus requires a Silver Calcium battery.
If you don't have one of those, you're going to be burning out your charging system and or battery.

I'm 100% convinced they do, but then again, most of my hats are made of tin-foil.

Mornin Doc, how goes the fight today?
Katt Williams is coming up quick eh?

I love my aluminum foil hat too <3

The good fight today is going good, had a pretty good training session yesterday, slept like shit (passed out at 2am up at 4:45) but don't feel too tired.

I'm so excited for him. I've already started prepping myself but watching pimp chronicles 1, American hustler, Kattpocalypse, and one of his other stand ups. Also been watching Gabriel Iglesias, Russell Peters, and Jeff Dunham.

Tin foil hats FTW!

That's funny bud, I was just watching The Pimp Chronicles this past weekend.
Good stuff right there.

Deadlifts today!

"Whitney done smoked her kneecaps out"!

"Meanwhile Michael Jackson is free and smelling like little boy booty holes"

Hahaha I love Katt! Are you off your deloads yet?

Yea, back into mesocycle 8 now.
It just really sucks how much strength I've lost recently. Hopefully the taurine will help out with that a little.

Part of what I'm trying to do now is just maintain as much strength as I can.
No more 12 rep sets for accessory work, I'm sticking to 5-6 reps/set.
This SHOULD allow me to retain some strength.

Hmm, I'll have to look into that. I honestly haven't looked at what kind of battery it is as I just went by the silly battery picker at the store.

Those things usually just try to match up group size and CCA (cold cranking amps). If it does need a special type of battery, a lot of the systems and catalogues will just pick their equivalent to get the sale.

What kind and how much accessory work are you doing? Some lifts are better with higher reps some better lower reps.

Today for example I'll be doing:
Deads 3 sets of 3 (per the program)
SUMO RDL's <- yea you heard me
Chest supported rows
Plate loaded lat pulls
Havn't figured my last move out yet, maybe good mornings (f*n hate good mornings)

All "accessories" will be done for 5-6 reps and heavy.
That covers my vertical, horizontal and downward pulls.

But, for something like face pulls I'll continue to do high reps (15) with lower weight.

Lat pulls with the cable thing while seated? Those I'd keep higher rep bc it's not really a strength move but more for mass.

Nope, this BAMF here:

I really enjoy the "Hammer Strength" brand equipment my gym has.

We have a bunch of Hammer Strength stuff at my gym as well, including that lat machine. I LOVE that thing. I still use the cable pulldown as well though.

I don't know what it is about that machine but if you get the movement right, it just feels so natural and good.

Were you ever able to come up with a new gamer tag that XBL could live with?

Maybe I'm just a Debbie downer but I hate machines for the most part. Maybe I'll turn to a few later in my training career but not now.

If you were looking to simulate a downward pull, how would you accomplish that without machines?

BOR is the obvious answer for a horizontal pull.
Deads satisfy the vertical pull.
