Do you think one of them is using gear pt. 2

I don't know what it is about that machine but if you get the movement right, it just feels so natural and good.

Were you ever able to come up with a new gamer tag that XBL could live with?

Yeah. It took me a couple times using it to get it figured out. I like to do it one arm at a time with an overhand grip. I'm short so I gotta put the seat all the way up and kinda lean to one side but I like it lol. I feel it's actually easier to contract your lats on that thing than the regular ol pulldown.

Lol yeah, after I had to go on xbox.com and change shit around they let me use CptFNplanet. I haven't been locked out again yet, so I guess "FN" isn't as well known of a representation as "FKN".

Chin ups.

Touche, well played sir.

Fat people find chinups hard lol.

You know what, for the first time in a while my Google search has been fruitless.
"Fat guy chinup" returned surprisingly few examples of an actual fat guy doing a chinup.

I wonder if Half does chins?

Those things usually just try to match up group size and CCA (cold cranking amps). If it does need a special type of battery, a lot of the systems and catalogues will just pick their equivalent to get the sale.
I looked into it; and there really is a silver calcium requirement for the "smart charging" alternators that Ford employs in some of their lines as apparently it can place an 18VDC charge on the battery, which lead-acid doesn't like so much. I don't think she has "smart charging", but I'll have to double check tonight when I get home from class.

Good find though Avido, I honestly haven't really googled much on her problem to be honest haha.

I'm so not going to the gym today, and it depresses the shit out of me. :( Woke up at 6am and still felt like I had 50lb dumbbells tied to my legs. :crying: I think I'm going to try going without my pwo tomorrow (or tonight if I get mad about not going this morning) and see how I fare. No sense in making myself sicker, but I have this crazy strong drive to be in the gym so I can meet my goals. :wiggle:

Humppppp day!

Lol they're hard in general. I never do em.

It's always the 140lb kids I see doing them, like they're proud of being able to do pull-ups. One of these days, I'm going to pull that pin out of the stack and see how the little bastards do with 160lbs added to their pull-up. :madflip:

Christ I'm cranky this morning LOL. :spin:

Start off on the assisted pull up machine (yes I know a machine lol), use a spotter to hold your legs and ease some weight, or get bands <---probably the best option until you can do body weight chins and pull-ups.

I'm just glad I was finally able to contribute something worthwhile lol.

Even at 240lbs bodyweight, I can still do a couple wide grip pullups.
Chins I can do sets of 5.

Maybe it's time to reincorporate them back into my routine.

At 220lbs I was still able to do a one handed chinup (not one arm chin-up, there's a difference lol). But I see that in my gym too, the smaller guys with less mass tend to be the ones doing them

So those are more functional lifts than lat pull downs or the hammer machine. The strength you build on the machine doing them doesn't translate to more reps or strength on chins and pull-ups but getting stronger on chins and pull-ups will carry over to the machines.

What is a one handed chinup if it's not a one arm chinup?

*edit* I think I see what you mean:

I use to hate the 130 lb guys in the marines doing pull-ups for the pft, they would always ask why I could only do 7 pull-ups. I FUCKING weigh 100 pounds more than you dick. Sorry touchy subject lol

LOL I think it's so funny when I see people on the assisted dip / chin machine. I use it, but I put a 10lb weight on the pedal thing and pin it after so it stays down.
