Do you think one of them is using gear pt. 2

Yes, that's what I think too, and what I've been doing for years. One guy at my gym always gives me shit about taking too long between sets. He's always telling me 30 seconds. I keep telling him it's 30 seconds plus another 30 for every year you are over 30. It's usually just flat and incline chest that I'm slow on. Been doing 3 X 12 and I agree, I don't want to go backwards.

Compound lifts should always require more rest time. Obviously flat bench is more taxing than cable crossovers.

Time for some Mysterious Universe. If anyone likes shows like Ancient Aliens or Into the Wormhole, shit like that... it's worth checking out. The Joe Rogan Experience is good too.

I REALLY need to start doing real barbell bench. I always work out alone so I use one of the machines. I think I'm going to stick with if for now, at least all the way through post cycle therapy (pct), but try to switch up before my next cycle.

That's going to be my biggest problem.when I switch over. I know I'll feel like I'm not in the gym enough

I'm still trying to get passed that. Now that the weights are getting heavy it feels like a lot more work though. Today is the first day I've actually been sore afterwards. Still not sure how I really feel about it. I want to switch back to my old routine with focusing on actual progress on the mains... but I'm trying to just ride it out.

I workout alone too. I got a little scared last time I was benching, but I at least have enough control over the weight to let it down on myself easily if I need to. The benches have multiple pegs too, so if I get stuck I'm not TOTALLY fucked. Just embarrassed.

You could always use DB's too. One of the main reasons I used 'em for so long was the safety factor of being able to just bail and drop them. Which I've done many times since I would always train to failure.
