Does Aromatase ebb and flow like other hormones and effects with different esters.

And can this be leveraged?

So, first, does Aromatase production follow a cyclical production like most hormones? Natural T is highest first thing in the morning. When is Aromatase the highest?

My reason for asking is related to how I felt on a short acting ester. I felt better, performed better in all regards, and had better morning erections with nightly propionate shots than I do with e2d Cypionate shots. After subtracting the weight of the ester, I was taking identical amounts of actual testosterone.

I would still be on the propionate except it had some ethyl oleate in it, and after 4-5 weeks that would come out my pores and I stunk! My wife disliked the smell. No value in having great libido and performance if your wife thinks you stink!

So back on Cypionate, now 5 weeks later and stabilized levels again, and it's not quite the same. My E2 was the same when I got bloodwork done on propionate, but something is different. I miss the propionate. If I can find some without EO, or even better test acetate, I'll switch.

From all of my reading, there are two primary things involved in the production of the aromatase enzyme, Cytokines and Glucocorticoids. Glucocorticoids are present in (almost) every cell in your body. Cytokines can be created many ways, but the ones involved here are created in the Adrenal glands. This pair of glands usually sends out a constant, slow, amount of all of its goodies, but if you are experiencing high stress, it kicks into overdrive and starts producing massive amounts of its products. I have not been able to find if the aromatase enzyme is heavily produced during these times, but it would stand to reason it is since the gland is now in high gear and producing boat loads of life sustaining products (such as adrenalin). Cytogenes activate STAT-3, which is a protein that basically tells the cell how much aromatase enzyme to produce, more STAT-3, more activated cells.

Since the adrenal glands produce more when you are under stress (even small stress causes a small increase), then I would surmise that you produce less while sleeping and more while awake. Being overweight, unhealthy, sick, worried, etc., are also big stress creators and therefor will cause the adrenal glands to be more active.

I asked in part due to the theory that it's less overnight. If so, taking T that peaks during sleeping hours would give high T for recovery and repair while minimizing estrogen creation. I sure felt better on nightly shots of fast acting esters.
