Read a thread on here by zeek claiming that it can raise Test levels by 300+ngdl. Not ready for another cycle yet and had some clomid left over. I have some aromasin as well. Going to get bloods this week to see whats up.
Clomiphene stimulation did not elevate the testosterone level out of the normal range, but it remained in the middle of the normal range. Stimulation for 4 months produced levels similar to those in our previous study when the levels were measured after 2 months.11 This should be adequate for the desired clinical response. Wang et al58 found that a positive response to testosterone did not improve further when testosterone levels increased from the low-normal to the high-normal range. Snyder et al59 also found that increasing the testosterone level of normal, healthy males over the age of 65 to the level of young healthy males had no effect on energy, mental health, or sexual function.
I have read the thread. What it fails to point out is the large increase in test levels is in hypogonadal men, not eugonadal men. The clinical significance of an increase from clomid use is NONE at all meaning it won't do ANYTHING for you. Third, it still messes with your HPTA by letting the hypothalamus think there is less estrogen than there really is so the body hyper secretes LH. If you're not ready for another cycle neither should you be ready for a clomid only cycle.
From what i've read (anecdotal) Even when peeps get their levels up to par or really high with clomid, they never really "feel" it. It's weird, maybe the estro agonism countering the testosterone effect. The literature Dre just put up supports this(the anecdotes).
clomid makes me feel like a big sad fat woman on her period.
do you not feel emotional or sad using it?
Yeah, what a shame. They are working on a new drug with the clomid molecule that antogonizes e2 without the one that agonizes it. So we should be looking at a drug that gives us all the testosterone boosting/estro blocking effects without the side effects. It's being geared towards men with hypogonadism. Really exciting stuff. Who knows, if this stuff works really well, it may become as standard as cholesterol, BP, ED drugs. I'm not a big fan of medicine but this is pretty awesome. There's a lot of money to be made here, they finally caught on.
