Does sodium have a direct affect on Estrogen?

I know your supposed to eat low sodium, especially when on certain types of gear, to avoid water retention.

But does eating higher than normal sodium have a direct affect on estrogen? .i.e. if I up my sodium, does my estrogen increase?

As far as I know, it doesn't. However if I indulge in excess sodium after waking up looking full by the end of the day AND depending on temperature my nipples can sometimes take on a puffy look.

Maybe there is and I would love to know the mechanism, maybe there isn't?

Nope, although easy conclusion to come to as they both impact blood pressure via water retention. Puffy nipples are exactly that, puffy from water being held behind the areola.

Makes a whole lotta sense... Hate that friggin puffy nipple look when I've binged on sodium enriched goodness (junk lol).
