DoggCrapp Training

I have been lifting for seven years and I honestly have to say this is the best training program that I have ever used. My strength gains feel like the first time I used drol. I have been training this way for two weeks and I am up ten pounds of bodyweight w/o any supplements but a multi vitamin. All of my lifts are up about twenty pounds. The stretching really sucks, it will bring tears to your eyes, but it works. I highly recommend this type of training to anyone who has not tried it or that is stuck in a stale routine.

I just jumped on it at the beginning of this week. Intense, no doubt.

Are you counting calories or just protein grams?

I keep hearing raves about this kind of training. But from looking at it, how can your lifts be up 20lbs in only two weeks? Very slow eccentric movement, with rest-pauses and statics?

I would think it would take 2 weeks just to get the feel for the routine down, much less adding weight over and above what you were used to, especially if you were on some type of 5x5 or other low rep schedule.

I had been doing higher rep endurance training to give my joints a break from lifting heavy. But most of my lifting is done with a slow tempo like 412 so it really wasn't that much of a tempo change.

I just incorporated the extreme stretches, but Im not doing the one lift per body part per time yet, I was thinking of giving it a shot soon though, as the stretches just plain rock. Only bad part is, I get the wierdest looks from like the wiggers at my gym, and the 90 year olds, but who cares :p

All y'all talking about Doggcrapp method are really making me want to give it a shot......I'm about to have to start reading through my material on it again.....

Its pretty complex, I haven't started the acual training part yet, but its come across my mind ALOT since I've been reading the rave reviews!.... I just threw in extreme stretching into mine, and its awsome!

Yeah, I've got like 20 pages of his stuff I printed out. Pretty much the whole shebang.

Just to save me the trouble of reading though, what exactly is extreme stretching, and how would I go about implementing it, maybe as something to finish off my workouts?

I know, from what I've read he recommends doing it after said body part is completed.
(If anyone is reading this and knows im wrong, CORRECT me!)
This is what I do... Chest/Tri day.
Bench, Incline, Decline. then when Im done with those, or any variation of them. I walk over to a flat bench, grab 30lb Dbells and just let my arms go down like a fly (but w/ my arms bent) so the point is trying to get my elbows as low as possible. This stretches what I just worked on basically, and according to him gives me faster recovery time, and better gains.

Ok. I'm going to try this tomorrow, I believe, for chest. I really don't understand the others (yet) but I'll have plenty of time to do the research, IMO.

Ya, its hard to understand the others. My buddy that I work out with tells me I look funny as hell trying to do them :p

Yeah, back seems pretty simple, so I'll do it tomorrow, as well as biceps. It's the leg and shoulder stretches that are throwing me for a loop.

I saw a summary of doggcrapp training on another site which doggcrapp said he didn't write up but that it was pretty decent as far as a summary.

But you gotta hand it to doggcrapp, you can't go anywhere without hearing how good his training is or how it has really changed somebody's physique. And how many people can you say that about? Not many at all.

My biggest problem with doggcrapp's recommendations is the 500grams of protein...I have a hard enough time getting down 250 grams.

I have got to try this training though shortly...just too many good things I keep hearing about it.

I would kill for a pictoral of the stretches, Im just trying them one by one and hoping they are right

Hey, does anyone have a link somewhere where I could find some info on this workout routine? It sounds really interesting and I would love to study up on it and maybe try it out.

r3v, I tried the chest stretch tonight, and it's a BITCH!!!

Started with 70's thinkin I was a badass, made it about 8 seconds before I realized that I was in over my head. So I grabbed the 50's regrouped, and did it again. This time I made it for 45. I'm hurting like a sunuvabitch now though.....
