Hiyo
Before starting TRT(meaning my whole life) I would get DOMs on a fairly regular basis and, like most people, would use that as a motivational sign of a good workout(even if the logic isn't sound). Obviously the soreness would lessen over time but when I switched workout routines or pushed myself extra hard I would still get DOMs.
What I have noticed since starting TRT is I rarely ever get DOMs or any soreness. When I switched from doing TRX exercises to weights I pushed really hard and had 1 day of soreness on the first workout but that was it. Every workout since then, even when really pushing my limits, have left my muscles feeling fine the next day. If I really flex the muscle hard I can kind of feel it. Before if I did a killer upper body workout I had a hard time getting the protein powder off the top of my fridge for a day or two. Also, I started biking(funny how i can't say 'cycling' here without it being misinterpreted) and after doing a metric century my joints were sore but my quads/hammies were perfectly fine even though they were super exhausted by the end of the ride.
Has anyone else noticed that they don't get DOMs or that DOMs is severely lessened when on TRT? I'm not sweating it but it is a curious coincidence.
