Dont be afraid to lift heavy!

Gonna be that way tomorrow! yay!! Got up to 260 tonite...my glut's are already on fire as i sit here typing

I'm a elite powerlifter and have been training my wife for 12 weeks. She does the same routine I do but with less weight. She is 5'4" 155 lbs and 42 yrs old all natural but she has used HGH previously. Her current raw numbers below and all of these lifts would pass at a judged powerlifting meet. There is none of the high squatting 90% of the people do at public gyms.
Bench 155 x 3 (new PR for her on Monday)
Squat 315 x 2 to parallel
Deadlift 335 x 1

Her deadlift form was perfect the first time I showed her how to do it.It took me a year to have as good a form as she did her first time.

She has her first competition in late June and should do well enough to get a elite level total as a raw amateur master (40-44) 165 lb class.I jokingly told her you're a strong bitch. She can out deadlift and squat quite a few of the teen boys and smaller men at our gym.

The cardio bunnies give us weird looks when they see her doing barbell squats and heavy deadlifts. We love it and she is really jacked with veins popping in her arms and legs.

I love training legs, my problem is they grow if I just look at a weight, that and my back! Focusing more on fitness comps I stick with gymnastics conditioning now and my legs get a pounding from the plyomeyrics and single leg squats - ass to the calf, harder than any weighted exercise I assure you!!

Every
time I do legs, I cannot walk right for the next few days. That is my goal. lol.

I love it.

Yes I do, i think it started last week. Started some pull-ups this week, switched to regular push-ups (not girl ones). and leg press and squats for sure
