Dorian Yates... 17 Years on TRT...

Dorian is by far my favorite bb'er there is. I used to hold Flex Wheeler in a similar light, but he says he's taking herbs now (which he sells) instead of TRT. A part of my heart died when I saw that video. :(

Every bbder I was a fan of or trained with were really smart people..most successful....

Just had to say it.

Dorian s a bad ass.

Me too I got into her early. Learned so much.

I'm with you bro, Dorian is a badass. A very smart and honest one. He is very upfront about everything I've ever heard him speak about. His training videos while still competing are enough to get anyone pumped up.

As I continue deliberating whether I should go on TRT, I stumbled upon this...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hrh2HW7NQ9U

Essentially Dorian talks about going cold turkey after his competitive days and his Test crashing, he inevitably started TRT at 36 years old, he is now 53.

A couple years back I got myself in some trouble with the cops and I went off for 6 months. It was living hell. It was too risky to have any sent by mail. Not even hcg and pct. I had been on trt for close to 7 years. Having syringes was out of the question.

The first injection after all that was better than sex. I totally understand what he is talking about as far as coming off or going on trt after reaching the level he was at. In the day, I was 40lbs heavier and letting that go was one of the hardest things I ever did. My health was getting to the point to where I couldn't cycle like i did. I'm 55 yo now and 235 lbs. I feel good about how I look. I still have a muscular build, but jaws don't drop when when I walk into the room.

Dorian Yates was always a pro I looked up to. He's right, you just can't run crazy cycles forever. Thanks for the thread OP.

Although not as long as you, Ive been off for about 3 months waiting to start "official" TRT via doctor, 3 weeks till I see him..... feel like im gonna lose my mind, irritable, depressed, weepy.

Dorian was my biggest influence back when I was all natural.

Combining Mike Mentzer and Dorian Yates one set to failure theory - worked extremely well for me being natural at the time.

Ha ha - I had my wife get in a picture with Dorian... and his forearm was bigger than her head!

Now that I'm older, I'm glad I waited till my later years before I started AAS!

I greatly suggest everyone to go and check his full interviews on LondonReal, they are just not about bodybuilding, he talks about lot of stuff you would never think he would talk about.
Some of the most interesting interviews I've ever seen.
