dumbell kickbacks

This is how I look at it. No exericise is best for defintion.

There is muscle, and there is fat. When you have more muscle, and less fat, you have definition.
 
yeah, but but kickbacks work the upper area, and extensions work entire area and seperate all 3 tri heads. so one of these 2 has to be a better one for definition. anybody have a different opinion?

Couldn't have said it better. but as for working the triceps, i advise the cable tricep extension, and most importantly, the dumbell tricep extension while lying on a flat bench.

EXRX is a great site, I send people there very often for stuff (on the rookie boards).

Definition is bodyfat and water retention, not movement. A nice variation of the kickback is two dumbells at once, I like using that for seated incline dumbell curls also.
