Ed was getting better, but then went back to square one.

Yes, it IS getting better. I think it was the Arimidex. IVe cut down to 50 mg twice per week and it's already starting to come back.

I appreciate everyone's asvice. My lifts are still going up at the gym. I benched 95 kgs today (210 lbs). Only managed ONE. Not too bad for a 73 yr old I don't think.

Nice work sir! Glad to hear your symptoms are improving too

Lol! Is this a cock pep talk?

What do roosters have to do with anything?

I'm just trying to encourage this guy Ed. ;)

All joking aside, I'm glad you're feeling better. Managing e2 has been the most difficult part of trt. Once you get dialed in, it's great!

I hear ya. Of course "Ed" is erectile dysfunction. Hence the "HANG in there buddy, things will get better" pep talk. I'm not fully mature on things like these. Farts, poop, etc included. My 12 yo girl even rolls her eyes at my and her brother's immaturity.

I did express the same sentiment for OP.

Erections are back, not very firm, but involuntary several times a day. Don't stay firm for very long yet, at least it's a start. I cut the T down to 50 mg twice per week. I'm going to see how it goes for the next week or two.

The wife is taking the HGH 1 IU per day, this is week 3, her reps have doubles at the gym, she's doing sets of 20 and her max weights are going up slowly. She says she feels a lot better. She seems to have more energy as well.

That's a bummer, my 5 year old still laughs at all my dad jokes and her brother's farts, I'm not looking forward to the day that she's too cool for that.

Look dude T doesn't do that much for ED. The fact is most people aren't low T the range is so broad most are just the lower range, but still within the range. All of us on TRT are probably way higher than almost anyone on a natural level. I know of NO 40 yr olds pushing 1000ng/dl of Test naturally and many of us are well over that on peak.

I've done both TRT (still on it) but not nearly as diligent as I used to be. I feel no different pining 125mg/wk or 200mg/wk if my E2 is 20 or 60 or 100 I feel no different. I think most people it's psycho sematic just like everything else we do "We want to believe it's making a huge different" the only thing T has made a big difference in is body hair, drive, and the ability to retain muscle.

For BIG RAGING BONERS THAT GO THROUGH WALLS? IT'S VIAGRA AND IF THAT DOESN'T WORK YOU HAVE A HUGE MEDICAL ISSUE!!

I've said before I don't know which I'd quit if I had too? I hate pinning, but I like the muscle retention. I live feeling like a porn star in the bedroom which Viagra gives me.

Use ED meds!!

In all fairness, some people are more self aware of their bodies than others. For example, how many guys out there are walking around with hernias without knowing it? I notice changes in my TT and E2 levels.

Viagra gives me a headache and that's all. Cialis gives me a headache and I can't sleep at night.

Somatropin and weight lifting, watching calories has made a HUGE difference to my life. I'm starting to get as horny now as I was 20 years ago and I feel great and it's only been two and a half weeks!

That's possible Megatron........I do get some puffiness in my nipples when my E gets high, but it's not some "LIFE OR DEATH" description many give here. Like "Oh, Sh$T, I need to go take a AI like this second or damn I bet my T is only 800ng/dl now"

I think people exaggerate a bit, but yes minor changes I can agree with.

As far as headache...........yep so do I and the stuffy nose and the hot flash feeling. Take two ibuprofen, shot of nasal spray, and lower you dose you will be fine. If you still have a headache you are taking too much. I only take 50mg and feel like a porn star.

The strange thing is that there seems to be zero correlation between body mass and dosage. So someone weighing 120 lbs takes a Viagra pill and feels like a porn star.

I weigh 236 lbs (and it isn't fat) and the same pill is supposed to have the exact same effect?

I tried Cialis, but not only did the 'standard' dose give me a headache, it also caused insomnia.

At 73 years old, I don't expect to get raging boners, but I do expect to get a reasonable erection. My grandfather was a randy old bastard and rum our has it that he fathered a child to one of the local women when he was 87. He was still chasing anything with a hole, when he was 98. He had a bad cold a couple of weeks before his 100th birthday and ate a pot of fish paste that had gone off. Not sure if it was botulinum or ptomaine, but whichever it was, it killed him.

I must have a huge medical problem then. Viagra does absolutely nothing. I stopped TRT 3 months ago after it doing absolutely nothing for my ED. I now have 0 libido. Looking back on it, it has progressively gotten worse over the last few years. I year ago, I had some libido, and could get a hard on by getting turned on by my girl. I'm 59, blood pressure is fine, sugar is good. My cholesterol is a little high. The only way I can get hard now is I inject Bimix. Get rock hard in ten minutes. It last about 45 minutes. Found a guy on franktalk that mixes it up, and sells it for a very reasonable cost.

Time for an update.

On 1 May, I decided to stop trying to lose that fat, and instead put on a bit of muscle. I started on Somatropin 2 IU daily for month one and 1 IU daily thereafter.. I pushed my testosterone up to 200 mg split into 3 injections, Sun, Tue, Thu. My lifts were doing great, I feel randier now than I did in my twenties. I arrived by trial and error 0.25 mg Arimidex every day I have a shot of Testosterone and 500 IU HCG twice weekly.

Fortunately sticking pins in me is no biggie. My wife sticks the T in my butt and I do the SubQ myself. I tried stopping the Somatropin and within 2 weeks, the libido started to drop and my weights just stagnated. So I intend to stay on the until they prize the bottle out of my cold, dead fingers.

Since 1 May 2014, I have pushed my lean body mass up, then lost fat again, and then gone up again. I still have some loose skin / fat around the lower belly, and more fat all over than I would like. My stats are now : -

Height - 6' 5"
Weight - 238 but a lot less fat than before
Bench Press - 125 kg (276 lb)
Curl 55 kgs
Seated Military Press - 75 kgs

I feel GREAT I had blood done in June, no problems, then again in Feb, no problems, SHBG a bit up but borderline. I'm as randy as a rabbit. People refuse to believe I'm 74, some of the young women at the gym hit on me if my wife isn't there with me! My hair is still brown, it's way down past my shoulders now and getting thicker. I cycle a lot and I'm full of energy.

I'm off for more bloodwork on 30th, I'll post the results.

Glad to hear you are doing well. If you are pinning three times a week you really need to add at least one more injection site besides glutes. Quads, Delts and Ventroglutes are all favorites.

And when you say "young women" at the gym are you referring to the 20 or the 60 year olds? :)

Don't be insulting. You are as old as you feel. The 60 year olds LOOK 60 (or older). I have one of 36 which chats me up and even younger ones as well. Alas, I'm faithful to my wife, but I can guarantee you, I could pick up a couple of the ones under thirty!

I FEEL under 30. I can out lift most of the younger blokes in the gym. I can out fuck most of them as well. I hope I die "on the job" What a way to go!

You sure are full of piss and vinegar today. Go back and read the posts from the beginning in this thread and perhaps that will help you remember where you were at back in December when you were seeking our help.

By the way, a smiley face :) at the end of a sentence means it is a joke. You might want to check your estradiol again. :)

I don't do jokes very well and texting and smilies were never important to me, nor were smartphones. I guess that some part of me is old-fashioned enough to wish I was still back in the Sixties.

The help that I got from this and other forums was much appreciated I seem to recall, however, that everyone was against my using HGH and as it turned out, this was advice well ignored, because it was the HGH which did far more for me than everything else. Sure I need the TRT, but until I started the HGH my sex life was still f****d and all my aches, pains, torn meniscus, shoulder impingement etc were still very noticeable.

If you are going to use the internet for help you may want to familiarize yourself with its customs. It will make the experience less frustrating for you and everyone else.

And in all fairness, in Post #11 I recommended spending your money on blood work before spending it on HGH. Others recommended getting dialed in on TRT first (including getting blood work) and not running HGH unless you were prepared to buy enough for at least 6 months (which is very expensive).

For all we know, your feeling better is very likely to your getting blood work and dialing in your TRT protocol. You also increased your testosterone dosage up to 200mg/week and adjusted your pinning protocol. I find it much more likely that it is this that is driving the improvements you noted. I hate to break it to you but it probably isn't the HGH. Nevertheless I would love to see blood work showing what your growth hormone and IGF-1 levels are at now compared to before.

My HGH costs me slightly over ****** Euros per day. My plan is to stay on 1 IU per day until I die. I gave you my before and after IGF-1 in another post. I'm starting to wonder what your interest is in the Medical / pharmaceutical profession to cause you to try so hard to refute everything I say.

I am NOT an senile idiot with alzheimers and dementia. I used to be a veterinarian ubtil I found how corrupt this branch of medicine is as well and gave it up. Please stop trying to convince me that what I know is working, actually isn't!!!
