I can only speak from experience.
I was on test 250mg x1 week and 5000ui x1 week for about 3 years. Then we started to try and have kids. My initial sperm count was low (9 million when it should be 50 million...I think that was the number) I came off the test, stayed on the hcg and was told to add HMG. In 3 months I went from 9 million to 80 million. Whether that was me simply coming off the test or if the HMG had any real role in it, I don't know. I ended up switching doctors and the new doctor told me HMG was a waste of money. I was still produce enough when I came off the HMG, but I was at about 60 million at that time. Every doctor had there own opinion. My initial endo doc told me test had nothing to do with sperm production and went out of his way to show me diagrams and had me read up on books, from the 70's.
Wait until someone with more knowledge comes along. Perhaps, if you're worried, you could do a sperm count now and simply check every 6 months. If there's a decrease, you can make adjustments based on what you're priorities are at the time. That said, a friend of mine though he would be sterile because of the heavy cycles he was on and low sperm count. He's got 4 kids now. He didn't want any at the time. He's happy now but that's just a happy coincidence.
