Esradiol High and Don't Want to Use Avodart

I'm pretty new to the TRT/HRT world. I started Test C on 11.15.13 - .15ml (30mg) SubQ injected daily.

I just had bloodwork done here are the results:

Regular Estradiol - HIGH - 59.7 (7.6 - 42.6, pg/mL)
DHT - HIGH - 103 (30-85 ng/dL)
Test, Serum - 1087 (348, 1197, ng/dL) Had not injected before the blood test.
Test, Free - 24 - (7.2, 24.0, pg/mL) Had not injected b4 the blood test.

My doc initially suggested reducing Test C to .12mL(24mg)/daily (I did this) and .5mg Avodart twice a week for the DHT (hair transplants and want to keep what I now have) and the Estradiiol but I'm very concerned about Avodart (had bad long term sides with Propecia).

I asked for another AI and he prescribed 1mg of Anstrozole twice a week. I've read enough here that made this dosage seem high. I don't want to crash my E2 and want to ease into lowering the number.

Any suggestions on dosage would be appreciated.

Try .25mg twice a week. Although if you dropped the test doae to 24mg daily you very well may not need an AI anymore.

that sounds like a high dose of anastrozole.....
1 mg twice a week ?

Thanks for reply. Yes, I agree, which is why I've asked for some input on dosage.....of anastrozole....and also wondering how I might lower my DHT.

why don't you use 0.25 mg E3D and see how you do ?
get a pill cutter and cut them in 4 pieces...

Yes, that was Mega's suggestion as well...so will probably try that dosage...although Mega could be right, my drop to 24mg might do it without AI. Any thoughts on lowering DHT?

I think there are some shampoos that you can get to help reduce the DHT in you scalp, but I am not knowledgeable about them. There are supposed to be some natural remedies like Saw Palmetto but I have no idea if they are effective.

Have not used it, but I think the shampoo is Nizoral. For DHT in the scalp minoxidil can also be used.

Thanks guys. I just ordered Nizoral on Amazon. Only the 1% is available w/o a script. I'll give it a go and see what happens.
