I was wondering if anyone could tell me if it is only testosterone and its chemical composition alone that is detected in a testosterone lab analysis. I'm talking for the specific purpose of testosterone replacement therapy, and the fact that the testosterone is attached to an ester to allow for a slower release. I'm wondering if the testosterone attached to the ester shows up, or only the testosterone free of the ester will show in the results. Especially when dealing with free T, I would assume the lab would need to be specific in their findings, and only the non-esterised T would be included.
The two differ in chemical composition, so I'm assuming they would.
Thank you.
