estrogen blocker

What are some good options for lowering estrogen? I have some generic arimidex, but I am not sure that it is doing the job as I still have some high estrogen symptoms and E2 on lab tests is not coming down that much.

I am considering getting some liquid arimidex to see if this might help. But I am looking for other products that might work. I have read some info on dim, ic3, tmg, and there are numerous estrogen blocker/aromatase inhibitor supplements on the market, but most of them are probably crap or potentially harmful. Does anyone know of some good products in this category that have helped you in the past. Thank you.

I don't know much about this, but I do know that people will prob want to know what dosage of arimidex you're on, and how long you've been taking it, along with your testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) or cycle history..

The most potent Aromatase inhibitor (AI) is far and away Letrozole (Femara). About 5x's as potent as A-dex/Anastrozole and extremely expensive. If you don't know how to use it you will likely crash the shit out of your estrogen, which isn't the end of the world, but does suck for a couple weeks while you are allowing it to rebound in search of that "sweet spot". I don't care who you are, what you say, or how knowledgable you think you are..... there is no "EXACT SCIENCE" to getting your estrogen dialed in properly. You either need to have a great deal of experience, regarding your own body, when it comes to getting dialed in, or there is this one CHODE-SMOKER named CHIP WADOWSKI at MAXIMUS Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) that has a lot of success with everyone he deals with. I hear he's kind of a douchebag that doesn't charge his clients enough money, though...:scratchhe

Thanks fo the replies. Here is a little background on the situation. If you have any recommendations or advice, please let me know.

I agree that one should not use an Aromatase inhibitor (AI) if you do not have to, but I think that in my situation I might have to and it would probably help me. My current t level is 241 and estrogen is 43. Corstisol am is about 14, which is up from a level of 6. I am currently taking cortef about 10 mg a day. I cannot take too much cortef because I feel worse on a higher dose. I am trying to wean off the cortef and or take it at lower dosages.

I have tried the past few months using clomid, hcg, androgel to raise T, but it has not alleviated any of my symptoms. On the hcg and androgel, I will sweat alot of times at night, which is a sign to me that my E2 is probably too high. I am going to be switching to a 10% lipoderm t gel next week and hopes this will raise T and help improve my health.

My questions to you guys would be should I take anything else besides arimidex to lower estrogen? In my case, I cannot just boost the cortef real high because it makes me feel worse and I am trying to wean off, I also have life flo preg cream that I have tried in the past, but it does not seem to be helping in this area.

I am big guy about 300 pounds. I do have some extra fat, so any type of T replacement for me is probaby going to cause some aromatization. I am trying to reduce the aromatization and raise my T, and I think the best way to do that for my case would be to take arimidex and possibly other supplements/lifestyle changes. I don't know of too many other ways to lower estrogen/reduce aromatization other than arimidex. I would be open to any suggestions someone has that have helped them in this area in the past. Maybe arimidex is just the best choice by itself, and I should just take that only, but I wanted to check with the members on here first. I just have feeling that I could benefit from other possible AI's/estro blockers as well.

I am not sure what is causing the spike in e2 for me. Normally it was about 25-30 for awhile and my t was always about 200-250. But in the last 6+ months my fsh jumped from middle of the range to top of range and I was taking hcg monotherapy for a few months. Not sure what caused it. I noticed my balls shrinking a little and my sexual stamina is much weaker during this time period as well.

I also had terrible pain in my upper right quadrant for the last 9-10 months and finally had gallbladder surgery last week. Alot of the previous pain I had before is gone now, and I am currently going through the recovery process. Not sure how this is going to affect lab results going forward. Could be good or bad. Probably will help things though. I appreciate any help. Thank you.

There is an OTC Aromatase inhibitor (AI) called forma-stenzol (mrsupps sells), that is supposed to be very good.

You should just call Chip. You cannot have any kind of quality of life with a testosterone level that low and or a high estrogen level. The gels will just raise E2 and create more estrogen stress and basically negate all the positive benefits of testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) over time...definitely not smart. You should check your SHBG too. I'm sure it's high. As far as OTC AIs, there is DIM, though I don't really put much stock in it. You need to get the T level higher for sure.
