Mesterolone has retained its popularity due to the unique qualities it possesses. There are 3 primary uses for which this drug is best suited, which are: 1) Its ability to reduce circulating estrogen 2) Its exceptional SHBG binding affinity 3) Its ability to increase libido.

Mesterolone reduces circulating estrogen by exhibiting a stronger binding affinity for the aromatase enzyme comparative to testosterone. This directly decreases the amount of aromatase enzyme testosterone has to interact with, thereby decreasing testosterone’s estrogen conversion rate.

This reduced estrogen level can have several different effects on the user, such as the prevention of estrogen mediated side effects, to cosmetic enhancements like reduced water retention and increased muscle hardness.

Assuming one is already using an AI while on TRT how do you introduce the Proviron into your therapy program? Drop the AI or run it along side the Proviron?

Its a very mild compound. Pretty well useless on its own. BUT, it is a beneficial compound to add to any cycle that includes Test, which is every cycle. Its easy on your body, acts as a mild AI as it binds to the aromatize enzyme, and it also binds to you SHBG which allows you to use more of the test your injecting!!
 
Yeah the mild AI part is what has me interested. I started TRT with crashed E2 and still have issues every now and then. It sounds like it may even help me make more of the cruise part of my blast and cruise as well.

Proviron is great - I've used this off and on over the years and like it a lot.

Even though I've always had an AI on hand - I only used proviron with my
first couple cycles to keep estrogen down, which worked great!

This doesn't mean it will replace your AI - not at all - but it does help to keep your estrogen
in check along with all the other benefits.

Thank you for stating that. I was starting to worry guys were going to think proviron is an AI substitute. Great addition, but it does NOT prevent aromatization, just takes precedence at the receptor over estradiol.

From my readings I was under the impression it actually binds to the aromatize enzyme preventing aromatization to a certain degree similar to masteron. I DEFINITELY does not take the place of say Adex or Stane.

Okay, I guess I should clarify that it does bind to both, but it is a trivial amount of binding done to aromatase molecules. I'm on my phone so I don't have the actual numbers in front of me, but it's very small compared to say, arimidex. I think a lot of confusion comes from the term "antiestrogenic", which is due to the fact that receptors are being filled by the proviron instead of an estradiol molecule.

The main reason I enjoy it is because it does increase free testosterone due to binding with SHBG. It's pretty weak in terms of anabolism, but helps you get the most out of your test.

In fact, I forgot I had a doctor ordered panel while on just TRT and proviron; luckily he doesn't realize what having a free test 12x over norm means. ;)

I'm not infallible, but I've yet to see in person or read a study indicating that it has any real impact on E2.

Oh ya loud and clear Halfwit. I wasnt trying to call you out either btw. And yes, the best most sought after benefit IMO too would be that it binds to the SHBG!

This stuff works GREAT - I've actually just ordered another 6 bottles (even though I still have 5 bottles left)

I've found Swanson's and GNC to work great, but Swanson is cheaper - you can get a bottle of 90 capsules 900mg for under six bucks -
... add some of PSL's Proviron and Viagra (or Cialis)... and you're an INSTANT SUPERMAN!!! :D
