Evidence that time "ON" = increased difficulty in HPTA efficiency?

Does your body really "forget" how to regulate it's own levels of Test the longer it is shut down?
If someone goes ketogenic, the body does not forget how to eat carbs. Sure there may be a rough transition going back, but it happens.
Can someone explain to me how exactly the body becomes less effective at regulating it's own Test after a cycle?

Is it length of "time" one is shut down, meaning that even on only 120mg/w over an exteded period will make it more difficult to get your HPTA back up and running at full effectiveness,
or does dosage somehow play a role in it as well. Meaning, that the higher dosage somehow plays a part in reducing the effectiveness of full HPTA recovery?

Does ANY amount of Testicular shut down result in reduced ability to be at full natural capacity?
Basically just looking for evidence that it is any more difficult to get HPTA back up and running at full effectiveness after 3 months as apposed to 4,6, 12 months etc.
Or is this one of those areas that just has the community experience as an answer?

Thanks in advance.

I can't answer u in a scientific way.. But I guess the comparison in ur post between keto/carbs and Hpta shut down is irrelevant
If they cut u out of oxygen for 4 min you would die.. So look at it in that way..
I know that how severe u shut down is dose and length dependent .. But frankly speaking I'm not sure.
I myself, never exceeded 12 weeks , never exceeded 1 gm of steroids, some get shut down and never recover from lower dosage and shorter period of time. Let's see what the vets would say about this.

the key word is 'Laziness' of the testicular organs
When an organ doesnt work for too long it can start to lose its power
Thats why Testis starts to shrink , because it loses power/capacity
These can the explanation in most simple words

Interesting.
So nothing like muscles where we label it as "muscle memory" for their capacity to come back after taking an extended period or break away from training I take it.
If it really is a case of "lazyness, maybe there is something to taking a shot of HCG every once in awhile while on cycle to give them a kick in the ass...?

I think it comes down to two factors, at least from my experience, proper use of HCG during cycle(to keep the boys as full as possible), and genetics. I've ran several cycles that were considerably longer than they "should" be, which I would recommend to no one, I realize I'm playing With fire, but have always been able to recover fully to pre-cycle levels.

I think its completely individualistic and one's specific body and whether one is destined to trt in the long run regardless is what the key factors are. Sure science and bro science may dictate that the longer we suppress the hpta the harder the recovery. But from personal experiences I can tell you I personally know guys who have been "on" for 5-6 years straight and most at 750+mgs of test the whole time and who have come off without PCT and fully recovered within 8 weeks (and this is multiple people not just a single guy). I also know of 1 guy that ran a 24 week cycle and was shut done permanently and had to go on trt through an endo as they were unable to restart his natural production to a normal level. So to me its all about an individuals own system that will dictate the outcome of being permanently shutdown.

I actually strive for little to no shutdown. Combinations of 2-6 week cycles have helped me significantly. I keep the gear simple, all short esters (One gram), Aromasin. HcG on all my cycles except for two week cycle. 3-6 week cycles HcG starts on day 15. On the 4-6 week cycles I actually add Naltrexone for the entire duration and this does not replace my HcG.. After the 4-6 week cycle I consume clomid initially and then transition to Nolva. I This is not my protocol but just a loose concept I work with. Goal is HTPA-ADRENAL-GONADAL health so that my gains are always kept and also I stay lean. This is not typical. Some may feel as tho its overboard. I do not care. Im not taking any one thing for a long period of time so i dont shut down. I feel better. I recover better. Diet is key. Stay balanced. I can spend nearly 5 months of the year on AAS. Slow and steady gains.

Sorry, I can't trust anything you say sir:D (inside joke)

Good topic...Wish I would have known this 20 years ago; but at 50 on trt...irrelevant...lol

Again though, real good topic. Damn it forgot my hcg...
thanks
