Faber vs Brown WEC

Faber was toying around with Brown's power and got caught. Faber is a great fighter and will be back but getting the belt away from Brown may be very difficult.

What the fuck was up with Paulo Filho. Have him an Silva been getting drunk before their fights or something. He kept looking around all crazy towards the end of the fight and was out of shape and slow as fuck. If I was Chael I would've done the same shit. It made for a shitty fight but fuck it, fans should be mad at Paulo for not making it a title fight. I wish Chael would've pushed for the knockout a little more in the last minute, but again I don't blame him.

Filho is probably the most overrated fighter in MMA. That was one of the ugliest wins I've seen but thank god someone finally beat him.

Filho is fighting some demons. Not sure what was up with him looking off into space, but I have a feeling he had zero interest in that fight bad may have been forced to take it, so he just handed Chael the win. I think his problems run way deeper than a poor mma performance.

Faber v. Brown was fun, I think Faber's confidence caught him, Brown is powerfull, and looks good. I love that division, should be a great rematch.

Faber is one of those guys who is so good at one aspect of the game (wrestling) that he's gotten by his entire career by simply outclassing opponents at that facet. Now that the talent pool is widening and he's meeting guys he can't muscle around things are getting interesting.

In my opinion, Faber overlooked Brown. Just compare his stance and demeanor compared to the Pulver fight.. he carried his hands down and danced around like he was going to walk through the guy. Brown stuck to the basics, kept his hands up, and didn't deviate from his game plan... Faber got knocked off his high horse and I'm sure is humbled by the whole ordeal. He'll be back..

What it comes down to is Faber threw a jackass elbow that would only work in a video game and got caught. He's got a long way to go on his standup.
