Hi Folks,

Injured and need assistance-recovering from fractured ankle so I am NON-weight bearing for another 6 weeks but I want to start some cardio 3x a week. I have decent home gym setup excluding d umbels

Any cardio ideas for crutch using cripples?

I had surgery about 5 months ago. Like you I could not lift for 12 weeks, so I decided to go on the rapid fat loss diet. The only cardio I did was walking on the treadmill. I dropped over 30lbs. good luck..
 
Are you able to Swim??? I have never had a fractured ankle, but Running/jogging in the water is very low impact. You might be able to keep your ankle wrapped with a waterproof sports tape, and perform water exercises...

I'd google a sports medicine site and find out what you can do... IMO of course.
 
^^ Agree with swimming. Also you can still train your upper body. Keep your diet in check and you will still be able to lose fat.
