Harvard Study Confirms Fluoride Reduces Children's IQ

Scroll down to Dr. Dean Burk' s interview...
he is presenting a graph.
Depends what area the OP lives in and the ppm of fluoride in his drinking water. Off the top of my head I can't calculate exactly how much he is consuming.
try google.

I just woke up about 5min ago and haven't had coffee yet. Nut here is the concentration of fluoride in my city water, 1.0 mg/l. My brain won't be working fast enough to figure out ppm here for a bit.

That is 1ppm.

I found the following info in a quick, but not exhaustive, search.

The daily upper intake levels (UL) for fluoride, the highest level at which no harmful effects are expected, are 0.7 mg for infants birth through 6 months; 0.9 mg for infants 7 through 12 months; 1.3 mg for children 1 through 3 years; 2.2 mg for children 4 through 8 years and 10 mg for children older than 8 years, adults, and pregnant and breast feeding women.

If you drink 20 ounces of water per hour over 20 hours that equates to 7 liters of water per day. That would put you at 7mg of fluoride per day assuming you don't swallow your toothpaste when you brush your teeth.

Absolutely NOT. That stuff destroys thyroid and is a poison.
Read the harvard study on the effects of fluoride.

One study does not establish proof of anything. Here is a study from this year in New Zealand that contradicts the Harvard Study. Water fluoridation 'does not lower IQ' - Medical News Today

The Harvard Study used data from an area of China where they have very high natural levels of Fluoride in the water, significantly higher than what is found in artificially Fluoridated Public Drinking water. Here is a comprehensive list of problems with the claims Anti-Floride activists have made using that study as their soruce: Does Fluoride Lower IQs? | Campaign for Dental Health

I agree that more studies need to be done, but to say there is a causal link between Fluoride and any health problems at this point is extremely premature.

Edit: I should have read the whole thread before responding. Megatron had it covered sorry for being redundant. Also, Mercola is a quack who's been ordered by the FDA to stop making illegal claims. Using him as a source is not helping your cause.

That is a ton of water. I've drank that much for the 3-4 days of water loading before a weight cut, but I can't imagine doing that every day. Make sure you get tons of salt, potassium and magnesium!

Perhaps you should read the periodic table of elements and see how much iodine fluoride can bind up. The point I am making is that the fluoride that is in drinking water is not the same fluoride naturally found in nature. The stuff they put in drinking water is a waste by product from factorys....
if its so good then why is it being removed from the water supply around the globe and in many cities across America?
Weren't you the one arguing with DET OAK on TRT and the importance of HCG while on TRT? .
A vet who has forgotten more about TRT than most know about it. So if you are recomending Hydrofluosilicic acid is good for people then good on you.
Its interesting you posted a NZ study since their neighbours Australia removed it from its water supply.

Can you be more specific ?
How much is "tons" of salt, pottassium and Magnesium ?
by "tons" do you mean going over the RDA??
A measurement in mg to the OP would be more appropriate and responsible.

Haha you guys are too much. I have enough bullshit to worry about - when I am parched - my ass hits a water/drinking fountain without a doubt in my mind. Gotta pick your battles...

To the original poster - nice job coming in here for info. I have nothing new really... I am blown away at your estrogen levels given the dose, and def need to donate to get HCT down. I try to balance donations though since you kill off ferritin stores donating too often. But I guess thick blood leading to heart attack/stroke is much more important that iron/ferritin.. so who the hell knows.

I would keep an eye on that glucose and TSH. Watch out for pre-diabetes and subclinical hypothyroidism. Make sure blood work is done in the morning while fasted, around the same time everytime, for consistent results.

When I started doing it 6mo ago it seemed like a lot. Now that I have been doing it all this time it feels normal. I've cut back because of something like travel, etc and I feel "empty" weird huh?
