Finally joined a powerlifting gym.

I finally got out of my old commercial gym and joined a place that caters to powerlifting. its a little dity but they have evrything anyone could want. chains, bands, boards, boxes etc....real power racks, GHR. I got away from the strict PL style for a little while but I think Ill be slowly getting back to it now that all the equipment is finally available to me.

Anybody from westchester that knows a gym like that in the area?

I went to school in southern CT. Theres a big time PL gym down i think in Stamford area, or Norwalk. Can't remember. I think it might be call Southside Barbell or something like that. I'll see if I can ask some of my buddies if they remember. Some guy that used to lift there would lift all the time at our school gym. I talked to him a few times, cool guy, Ronnie something. Think he had an 822 DL at one point a few years back

Yea I was gonna say. Usually on our way into the city for cocktails and sluts we drive right through Westc and its about 30-40 min to get to that point. Gotta be something down your way though at least in reasonable driving distance, can't be all fag Balley's around.

That is fine once or twice a week. Most powerlifting gyms are not filled with guys who live down the street. I drive about a half hour evertime i train.

I like being the new guy at the gym. I dont know anyone so theres no chit chat during workouts. Ive been getting stuff done in record time.
