Finally starting my first cycle today 500mg test enanthate weekly

Hi,

I finally have everything for my first cycle and will take my first shot tonight. I plan to take 500mg of test enanthate split weekly on Mon/Thurs for 10weeks. I am running arimidex at 0.25mg EOD and will be taking 250ui of hcg twice a week on the same day as my test shots and i have clomid for pct. Hoping everything goes smoothly. I have done my blood test but still waiting for results which I should get back this week.

Age-28
Weight- 83kg(183pound)
Height- 5"11
Bodyfat-10.9%
Been going to the gym for 5+ years.

Any pointers or advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
 
Just to be safe, wait for the blood work results to come back before starting your cycle. A few more days won't kill you.

You also need Nolva for your PCT. Let's see your plan for PCT laid out.

How did you determine your BF%?

What will your diet look like and what are your goals for this cycle?

Thanks for the reply Megatron. Yes I will wait for results to come in. I was planning to run clomid days 1-5@50mg per day and then from days 5-15@25mg per day. I can get nolva so I will get onto that. How should I run that in my pct? For my body fat I just got a 7 stage body fat test just with calipers and bodyweight and I got a dexa scan to which came back slightly more at 11.5%. My diet will be at 2800calories 45%carbs 35%protein 20%fat. My main goal is to just put on some lean muscle, I have hit a wall doing it naturally so I just want that little boost. Ideally I would love to be 85kg at 9%bf but I will take what ever muscle I can get :) thanks
 
As Meg said... Hold off a few days. Yea I know all too well what waiting is like but wait and get your base line on all your BW. Ya gotta do it like this. Once you take that shot or do a drop of Adex will not know your base line.

So if you have issues with Estradiol later you can work on it with tech data, BW ! If you don't and Q's arise later you will kick yourself and if I get the chance I'll kick your butt.

It's a long haul thing so a day or two waiting is good practice to being an adult kiddo :wavey: ah hahaa just kidding :)

So when will you start PCT? And only for two weeks? Why so short? There is some good PCT advice which includes how to run Nolva in the Sticky Threads.

So you don't want to put on some fatty muscle? Just the lean muscle? Sorry -- I laugh whenever people write that. Muscle is muscle. :)

What is your TDEE and how much of a surplus will 2800 calories out you in.

Haha thanks muscle mike appreciate the advice. Yeah definitely keen to get into it but I want to do it right so i dont mind waiting a little longer. Is there a certain time that is better than others for taking the shot? I was planning on taking it at night after work.

One in the morning and one at night. You want them to be about 3.5 days apart.

Good job on reading more about PCT. I would recommend waiting three weeks after your last injection before starting PCT.

Are you sure you did your math right to calculate your TDEE? 1900 calories is VERY low for a man. Especially if you are active and have some muscle on you. Can you walk us through how you got that TDEE number?

its really not a bit deal do whats easy am or pm either or. even one shot a week is not a big deal iv done it various ways. I would rec 2x a week though.
also i would rec cycle for 14 weeks, 12 min. and pct should be 4-5 weeks long and i would rec clomid and nolva combo for that.

Sorry I thought tdee must have been the same as BMR which is what I usually go by. I just used an online calculator to find my tdee and it said 3006cals per day. Does that sound right? How much above this would you recommend? Thanks again for all this info I'm loving it!

Thanks mate. I was only doing 10weeks because that's all I had enough for but can easily get some more. Going for 12 to 14 weeks is that because you don't start to notice gains until 3-4 weeks in on enanthate? Will definitely run a longer pct. Appreciate the help!
 
Blood work finally in!
Testosterone- 551ng/DL
Oestradiol- 20pg/ml
Fsh- 2 iu/l
Lh- 6iu/l
Thoughts Megatron and oldmusclemike?? Doc said everything is in the normal range but from research my oestradiol seems on the very low side of normal. Interested to know anybodies thoughts. Thanks.
