The first time I maxed out I did 170#'s. I weighed 165#.

I was 18 years old. A senior in High School. It was in May I think, last quarter of senior year.

fuck, don't really remember. was in the 400 lbs club junior yr in hs. thats bench/military combo. can't remember the exact split.

I don't remember a time when I couldn't rep a plate, but that's because I started doing push ups before I ever set foot in a gym.

at age 19,
bw 145#
bench max 95# - i was so discouraged, i was also a little pussy. It was probably three months before i ever got that first 135#

What are you talking about? first bench 17 years old bw 68 kg. I didn 't put any weight on and i did 8 reps. 4 years later I lift around 125 kg

First bench ever, dropped I think 114 pounds on me. I was able to bench 85 pounds @ 11 years old, don't remember if that was a max or a double but I couldn't bench my whole set for awhile.

My first bench ever I couldn't get the bar up.......45 pounds. So I don't know....I think it was something like 2 20 pound dumbells. But no worries.......I can get it up now. Easily.

age 16
bodyweight 140lbs
first bench max 135lbs

I felt like a puss too cause everyone else on the football team had been in the gym all summer and were doin that for reps.

I was benchin 45 lbs for reps when I was around 10. My first max was 225 lbs for 1 rep when i just turned 18 (about 10 months ago) and I weighed about 170lbs-175lbs at 5 ft 8 1/2. That was steroid free.

I don't remember my first max (I know weird) but I do remember what I did my first bench workout: 135 x 5, 16 years old, weight ~150lbs.
