First Cycle- Test E 500mg 12 weeks

This week has been horrible with joint pain. Doing flat bench/decline/incline and dumbell/barbell curls was hell. My elbow pain is through the roof right now. I might take tonight off and rest up. I still did all my workouts but it was very painful, its a sharp internal pain right in the middle of the elbow. Never had it this bad before. Makes my face cringe when Im lifting the weight off the rack lol. Makes my arms feel weak like it takes effort just to press the door open or take off my shirt, definitely not a good feeling. :bash:

I started same cycle 1 wk earlier than you.
Went through the same pain and shock last week too. Doing much better this week - on 8wks today. If same scenario, next wk you will feel much better. You will see body composition changes, as well as strength increases. I plateaued for about 3 wks.

Any numbers on lifts and how much improvement?
bench
squat
deadlift

OP... have you posted your workout(s) yet? The reason I ask, is because (especially if you are seeming to plateau) it sounds like you may be over-training. Wouldn't hurt to throw it up and have a few people analyze it anyway... Great gains so far though!! Keep it up!

One is bound to hit a plateau, over-training or not. Cannot progressively increase weight lifted week after week. It is the combination of the diet, training, and rest for optimal growth.

Sorry for the late reply.

Squats up to around 300, bench is up around 270, deadlift is around 400. I havn't maxed out yet, this is my maximum weight doing 6 reps. I feel like I could do more but my joints hurt pretty bad when I try and max out.
Most of my lifts have gone up 30-40 lbs.

It's nothing really to do with hitting a plateau, it's the joint pain that holds me back somedays. When everythings close to 100% I feel like a beast I can almost always add 10-20lbs on something and be able to handle it no problem. But when the joints hurt I have trouble doing my standard weight and hitting the same amount of reps.

Im really looking forward to my next cycle as I have a good understanding how everything works. You can do as much research as you want, the 1st time is never going to be perfect.

Overall it went pretty well, got bigger, got stronger, no serious sides... Can't wait to start cutting, starting my cutting in a week or 2.
