First shot in the ass....

Just started my therapy Monday *1 ML in the ass every 2 weeks, not that I'm out to try an abuse anything but was wondering what is the safe limit of this stuff anyways? Since I just started can you do once a week instead of every 2?? Just want to get back to normal instead of feeling like a 72 yr old man that seeing a girl naked on the beach doesn't even get my attention..lol
Another thing is how can I maximize its benefits towards working out at the gym (which I havent been to in months as there was no motivation)
Nieve about this whole replacement regimine...What all will happen anyways, I know my sex life may come back, but will I feelalot different? -Couldnt tell anything on the 1st ML,
May be stupid questions to some, I just dont know shit when it comes to this Low t I have (pretty damn low btw) and all the benefits and if slightly cheating by doing more will make me feel better and help w/ the muscle building.
Thanks everyone to who replies...*Rookie*
and also what should I be watching for that would be negative or a problem with the therapy?

Hello Bogie,

So 1mL doesn't tell us much, but I'm assuming that's 200mg E2W, or 100mg/wk. You'll feel MUCH better with weekly or even twice-weekly injections as it will keep your hormone levels nice and stable as the half-life of testosterone cypionate is roughly 7 days. There really isn't a set UL for testosterone, but I can tell you that the LD50 (where you have a 50% chance of dying) is 53g/kg of weight. As that is logistically improbable to inject that much hormone into your body, it's safe to say you'll be more than fine at your current dose. You do however need to stay within 'normal' ranges on blood work, which your doctor should be ordering in the next month or so. Be sure to have your doc check your estradiol (estrogen) as that will likely increase along with your testosterone levels, and is what causes all the negative side effects attributed to testosterone usage.

Take your time in the gym. You will start to feel better in the upcoming months and will undoubtedly start to notice the fairer sex once again. If you push yourself too hard, trying to make up for "lost time", you risk potentially injuring yourself in the process as your connective tissues require a period of adjustment and need time to grow along with your newly acquired muscle mass. Keep in mind, testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) is NOT a steroid cycle and WILL NOT magically give you that body you have been wanting to obtain. That still requires a ton of dedication to not only a good diet, but consistent training in the gym. Taking more than your prescribed dose will undoubtedly make your doctor twitchy and subsequently get your script yanked from underneath you.

Many men on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) do opt for higher doses later on, but you need to get your protocol ironed out and make sure all the wrinkles that come with hormone therapy have been resolved. This process can take a year or more, so be patient. Once you've made it past that point, and your doctor requires less frequent blood tests, then you can head over to the AAS section of this site and learn about cycling if you so desire. Do NOT do this until you have everything dialed in though - you only risk injury and embarrassment as you can cause more harm than good if you're not ready.

My .02c :)
