first time pinning yesterday feel soreness and slight hard bump on glute

so i pinned my right glute yesterday for the first time. no redness, little sore but not bad at all. only concern is that when u rub my fingers over where i pinned i feel like a lslight hard bump not that big. im thinking that its just cuz my muscles are vrigin to the needle and oil. is it cuz i injected too fast? i honestly thought i took my time injecting made sure i was careful and all. it is my first time so maybe im just paranoid. no oil seeped out either.

Same thing happened to me. It should be healed 5-7 days. Mine got a little red and warm on the 4th and 5th day then went away. What are you pinning?

Sounds like normal 1st timer stuff, you'll b ight.

that's pretty normal to have some redness, soreness, and lumps. especially because your new to pinning and its virgin muscle, after a while you get good and everything starts going more smoothly

Totally normal to have a little knot there. As long as you don't get a raised red area that gets bigger everyday you'll be good.

sounds about normal. Just make sure the bump doesnt continue to grow.

so its day 3 now, nothing new to report. def little tender still as im sitting but other then that im gtg. plan on pinning my left glute tomorrow. figure switch it up. what you guys think about for tues? pin my right glute again? or should i try my right quad? kinda wanna stick to glutes so im not walking with a limp. i do a lot fo walking in my occupation.

Yes, alternate muscle groups so you don't end up building scar tissue. Quads are going to hurt too if they're virgin muscles - you could try delts alternatively for your Tuesday pin.

So pinned again today but in my left glute. Been about two hours since I pinned. I injected a little slower this time, my glute is burning tho. Is that normal? While injecting, it started burning towards the end idk why. Any of you guys know? But yea it's like a little burn/ sting feeling

I just read a different thread... The burning I'm feeling could be from a nerve I may have hit. Def not worried about any gear being lost cuz only a single drop of blood came out once I pulle the needle out

You'll KNOW if you hit a nerve. It's not a burning sensation, it's a "HOLY CRAP WHAT THE F WAS THAT??!" sensation.

Ok cool. I'm actually fine now. Everything is good. Ima take this band aid off soon. I put it in just to stop bleeding and what not. Thanks for the knowledge and advice.
