First workout back think I tool it too hard

Hey Guys, well a couple of days a go was my first day back in the gym for a couple of months. I did chest and tri's and now 2 days later I'm still feeling unbelievably sore. I mean I actually have trouble turning the steering wheel in my car. Did I take a little too hard? Should I maybe just take the rest of the week off and let my muscles recoperate or is this normal for a first day back? Let me know your input.
 
after time off like that, u will be in pain. as long as its that pain that says damn im sore. not damn i think i pulled something ull be fine. just eat and sleep more. and i wouldent work ur chest and tri's for another week at least.
 
Yeah, that is normal from some time off, but I wouldn't work out those muscles again until they fully recover.
