flax and estrogen

whats goin on ology, quick question im in the gym the other day and a guy ask me what supplements i take so i tell him and when i tell him flaxseed oil i get a brief pause.... then he tries explaining that it promotes estrogen and is for women going through menopause i thought id as the ology for the real answer to this so if anyone know please input

It actually acts like a weak estrogen and can have a positive effect such as nolva. Albeit a very very minor effect that you probably will never see.
