rookie i have been fighting a similar issue for a couple years now. i tried and tried to work through it and it didn't work. it got to where my chest exercises, back exercises were being screwed up to the point to where at times i couldn't work them and my strength suffered.
Here is what i had to do. i had to lay off all bicep work for a while, like a couple months. i stopped doing any exercise that bothered the arm for a couple to few weeks. what i noticed is that bi work (specifically preachers) were the culpret.
i suggest you lay off bi work for a while. then go light weight high reps on bi for a while and maybe a long time depending on whether or not heavy weight makes the arm flair up. i can now do everything heavy w/o problems except bi work and i still go light weight high reps most of the time. m2c
