Forearms

Never had to train them specifically...they just grow like crazy, really feel it on back day (pulling deads, rows, etc. with no straps)

Every once and a while I will.

But like DaHurt said, back day is enough for me. Bent over rows, deadlifts etc do the job.

You can hit forearms directly, but they are not like other muscles... they need about 4 days rest before you hit them directly again.

i hit them separately..unfortunately i am not one of those lucky guys who can just chill without doing fore arms.. low volume..twice a week seems to be working for me

If you can, use thick bars and avoid straps. When I get really into grip training I use my captains of crush hand grippers, do isometric holds from a rack pull, put rubber bands on my fingers and stretch them out, and of course the good old fashioned reverse curls and wrist curls. I think it also helps to squeeze the barbell as hard as you can (I think I read that from Dave Tate). Farmer's walks are nice too but I don't know how applicable that will be for you. I wasn't blessed with popeye forearms like my brother even though we both wrestled.

Agreed but it really depends on you using straps to hold the weight for those exercises, I parsonally always use straps once I get to 275 and up my grip strength isn't all that lol but bc I use straps my fore arms don't get much out of it so I train them once a week on arm days
