You should not take 300mg of aspirin (you're actually making things worse internally). 5 grams of Taurine will suffice for back pumps.

Exactly...I only take one baby asprin at night for my heart. No need for 300mg.

Ive had success with Motrin.. Any one else. I use one bed time. 800mg Generic from VA Hospital. I swear it's the most effective all around medication I've ever used. Better than Vicodin's..Percs..muscle relaxers (narcotic and non narcotic) and all that garbage.

I'd at least give taurine in the 6g+ dose a try first. Ibuprofen is far superior to acetaminophen when it comes to reducing hepatoxicity, but it still carries some problems with long-term usage. It does definitely have a place for strained connective tissue pain though imo.
