Franco Columbu

Hey Shooby,

Thanks for adding that picture. I have that one from when it was in Muscle Mag years ago, but I've never seen it online.

Wow, what muscularity!!! Franco rules.

Hey xxIcemanxx,

Sure is nice to see you post again. Nice to see your 'right on' comments as well.

Franco's striated pecs are phenomenal! But it's hard to look past his bicep in that picture too.

Did you also know that Franco has recently updated his website (columbu.com)? It isn't quite done yet, but he does have some wallpaper and posters, etc.

Take care, bud.

Hey SandiegoJack...yeah I haven't been posting too much on this site lately, I've mostly been on other forums but I'm going to start posting on this site again. Hey thanks for the info on Columbu's site, I didn't know he updated it. Thanks for the heads up

You're welcome, xxIcemanxx. Also wanted to mention that the calendar on Franco's website is actually a 2005 calendar and not a 2004 one.

I'm also looking forward to Franco's videos. Don't know if you've ever seen "Franco's Superset Workout", but I hope he includes in on his website. It's like a 20 minute workout with Franco. I follow it 5 mornings a week. It's great!

Yeah Bimmer, he does look like he'd weigh more than that. But that's 190 lbs of solid muscle pack onto a 5'5" (165cm) frame. No fat, just muscle. That's what it's all about and why Franco was the greatest!

No, Franco was a powerlifter to begin with too. Before that he was a boxer. Franco has always been athletic with a good build. He had great genetics and he knew how to apply training methods. The only thing that would hold him down was his height.

My pictures are back up, Bast, so I'm guessing yours are up as well.

As far as any recent pictures of Franco, I haven't seen any. But Franco did release a new movie recently called "Ancient Warriors", which is at video stores. In it, there is a scene where he has his shirt off. He's still in great shape. Granted, it's not the mind-boggling shape he used to be in, but he's still very well put together. And I'll bet he's still as strong as hell too.

I notice that Franco's legs are bowed. Does bowleggedness ever negatively affect how judges see bodybuilders' legs? Are there any disadvantages in having bowed legs to weightlifters?
